MoA Signing with the UP Department of Computer Science
MOA-Signing between ASTI and UP - Last July 31, 2003, a memorandum of agreement was recently signed between ASTI and UP
Diliman's Department of Computer Science (UPDCS) for a collaborative testing and development project on LTSP. The agreement
aims to come-up with joint R&D publications as well as essential testing results that may eventually lead to improved system
specifications and new LTSP software developments. The agreement is envisioned to catalyze similar R&D agencies in the hope
of ASTI eventually setting-up an Open Source Research Laboratory open to the public to encourage researches on Distributed
Open Source Applications Development. It is also anticipated that said th said agreement signifies the beginning of a series
of development engagements between the two parties.
